FULL-TIME POSITION | SESEH, CANGGU, BALI | IMMEDIATE START

We’re looking for an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This position is located in Seseh, Canggu and requires immediate start.

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Supervise front desk staff and ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitor daily operations of the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests
  • Ensure the accuracy of billing and payment processes
  • Monitor and review guest feedback
  • Resolve guest complaints
  • Ability to schedule, train and coach front desk staff
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

 

Requirements: 

  • Indonesian Nationality
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as Front Desk Supervisor

Requirements:

Booking Policies, Terms & Conditions

Before booking any services at Udara Bali, please read and acknowledge the following booking policies, terms & conditions for retreat and cleanse packages, yoga, events and sound healing bookings, and visiting our spa facilities. 

Retreat Program / Hotel Booking policies

We kindly request that you review these policies thoroughly before proceeding with your program booking at Udara. Your understanding and agreement to these terms and disclaimers are essential for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

REGULAR PACKAGE RATE

  • A non-refundable deposit equivalent to two nights will be charged at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • The remaining balance for your stay will be charged on the day of your arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking up to 3 days before your arrival date, a charge for two nights will apply.
  • For last-minute cancellations or no-shows, the full amount of your program will be charged.


EARLY BIRD PACKAGE RATE

  • A non-refundable deposit for two nights will be charged upon booking.
  • The remaining balance for your program will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival date.
  • If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before your arrival, a charge for two nights will be incurred.
  • For last-minute cancellations or no-shows, the full program amount will be charged.


In the event of a refund, please be aware that any applicable transaction fees will be at the customer’s expense. Additionally, an administration fee of IDR1.000.000 will be deducted from the remaining balance. We are unable to offer any discounts or partial refunds for guests who arrive later than their scheduled start date or depart before the conclusion of their program.

CHILDREN & PET POLICIES

We truly love kids, yet with a heavy heart towards all families with amazing children, we decided that Udara will be an adults-only resort. We are dedicated to providing an environment of wellness and contemplation, especially within our spa facilities to ensure all guests can fully experience the restorative nature of their stay. The minimum age for staying at Udara and visiting our facilities is 14 years.

Pets are not permitted at Udara. We thank you for your understanding.

Terms & conditions for Cleanse programs

Before booking your cleanse program at Udara, please read and agree to the following policies and disclaimers. 

HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY

All guests should have valid health insurance for the time of their travels to Bali. When you choose your health insurance company, we recommend that you include evacuation in the event of serious injury while you are travelling.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Udara Bali Resort asks for a deposit of 50% in order to book a spot. The payment of the remaining balance of 50%  is due 3 days before arrival.

In order to qualify for the Early Bird Offers, the full payment is required +30 days before the program begins.. 

Cancellation fees: 

  • 14 Days prior to arrival no cancellation fee 
  • 7 Days prior to arrival will be 50% charge
  • 3 Days prior to arrival will be 100% charge
  • No show will be 100% charge


In case of a refund, the transaction fees will be at the expense of the customer and an administration fee of IDR1.000.000 will be deducted from the remaining balance. 

We do not offer any discounts for guests arriving later than planned or leaving before the end of the program.

If Udara must cancel your program for any reason, you may transfer your full payment to another program within 12 months (subject to availability), or you may request a full refund of your payments. In this case Udara is not responsible for any of your expenses incurred in preparation for the cancelled cleanse program (such airline tickets, loss of income or other costs associated with the preparation for your trip).

PROGRAM POLICIES & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Together with the booking of your program, we ask you to fill an intake form online about your health and lifestyle in order to guide you safely through the cleanse program. The personal health information provided to Udara will be kept confidential. The files will be kept for planning and evaluation.

While a cleanse is beneficial for almost everyone, we do not recommend it for those with critical heart conditions and cancer, unless you have spoken to your healthcare provider beforehand and they have recommended a cleanse. It is also unsafe for pregnant or lactating women. Please consult your doctor before participating in our program, especially if you have existing medical conditions or concerns.

As a customer, you agree that all information given before and during the retreat is true and represents your health accurately. It is important to know that you as a client are the only one who is responsible for your own health and well-being. The Udara Wellness Coaches and therapists are no doctors, but will guide you through the cleanse program in the best way possible and support you. 

Udara reserves the right to cancel your participation in the program if the guest has failed to disclose any medical or psychological conditions, without giving any refunds. These conditions may include Pregnancy/Breast Feeding; Blood Sugar Imbalances; Colon Disease; Heart Disease; Mental Illness or Eating Disorders.

Udara Yoga Guidelines & Class Card Regulations  

Please note our regulations for Yoga Classes and Events at Udara Bali: 

CLASS CARDS

Class Cards have a limited validity, which will be noted on the class card that you purchase. The Class Card will be registered in the name of ONE individual only (the person purchasing the class card). As long as the person on the name of the card is attending a particular class, he/she may share the card with 1 other accompanying guest. Udara Yoga Class Cards are non-refundable, non-extendable and non-transferable. You cannot transfer your card to another person after leaving Bali.

LATECOMER POLICY

Even though we are in Bali and you might be used to “jam karet”, we start our classes and events on time. Please come early enough and take into account the time you need to come to Udara (including possible traffic), sign-in at the front desk and set up your mat or Aerial yoga hammock before the class starts. For classes, special events and sound healing, doors close 15 minutes after start and latecomers will not be accepted. Tickets will not be refunded if you show up too late or if you leave an event or class earlier.

REFUND POLICY 

Please note that event tickets cannot be refunded or modified after purchase. 

Regular yoga classes can be rescheduled until 24 hours before the class starts. 

DISCOUNTS

Special discounts for Indonesian citizens are available for single class tickets and special events tickets. Please present your valid KTP card when you sign in at the Front Desk.  

LIABILITY

Udara Resort and their teachers are not responsible for any injuries of participants connected to participation in the classes or events. Please inform the teacher before class about any injuries, pregnancy or health conditions that may affect your practice. 

Udara has CCTV surveillance, yet we cannot be responsible for the safety of your belongings. Please take care of your personal belongings such as bags, shoes and phones while you are at Udara. 

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY CONSENT 

When coming to Udara classes or events, you agree that the Udara staff might take pictures and videos for documentation and promotion. These may be used online (e.g., on websites, social media) or in printed form (e.g., documentation or promotion material).

CHILDREN & PETS POLICY

Please do not bring children under the age of 14 to the Yoga classes. We truly love kids, yet with a heavy heart towards all families with amazing children, we decided that Udara will be an adults-only resort. 

Please do not bring your dog to Udara.

YOGA CLASS ETIQUETTE

Please read the following guidelines to make sure you and other participants have a pleasant experience during our classes: 

COME ON TIME

Please arrive before class starts to allow enough time to set up your mat or aerial hammock. Arriving late means missing the introduction, explanation, and warm-up, which are crucial for a safe and smooth practice. Arriving late also disrupts other participants.

BE QUIET AND MINDFUL

Yoga is a special time to connect with yourself, be mindful, and listen to your body. Please do not talk with your friends during the class to maintain an undisturbed environment for everyone.

RESPECT WHEN FILMING

Our place is beautiful, and we know you might want to capture your memories. If you wish to take pictures or videos, be mindful of others who may not want to be filmed. Once you set up your device, please keep it in place and avoid moving it around during class. We want to respect everyone’s space and experience.

PHONES SILENT

Kindly keep your phone on silent, don’t text or take calls during class. This time is dedicated to mindfulness and taking a break from the outside world.

WHAT TO WEAR

For Aerial yoga: please wear comfortable, fitted clothing that covers the armpits and knees to avoid the aerial fabric pressing against your skin. Avoid zippers, jewelry, or anything that may damage the fabric. Guys, please keep your shirt on while practicing to avoid sweat causing wet and smelly Aerial yoga hammocks. 

FOLLOW THE TEACHER’S GUIDANCE

For your safety and the safety of others, always follow the teacher’s guidance and only try poses that the teacher shows you. 

PRACTICE SAFELY AND HONOR YOUR BODY

Listen to your body and honor the limits you may have. If you have any injuries, medical conditions, or are pregnant, please inform the teacher before class begins.

Spa Facilities Guidelines

The Udara Spa provides the following facilities from 8am – 10pm:  

  • Finnish Sauna
  • Steam Room 
  • Infrared Sauna
  • Warm Water floating Pool (Watsu pool, 35°C)
  • Swimming pool
  • Jacuzzi
  • Cold plunge pool
  • Ice Bath
  • Meditation Cave 


SPA ETIQUETTE AND GUIDELINES

  • To maintain a healing environment, please keep the Spa area a Quiet Zone. Avoid loud conversations and respect the personal space of others.
  • Udara is an Adults-only resort and the minimum age of visiting the Spa facilities is 14 years old. 
  • Please take a shower before using any of the pools, before and after each sauna round or steam room for hygiene reasons. 
  • Please use swimwear in our spa facilities. 
  • Beverages: Please do not bring any water glasses or glass water bottles into the spa area. Use the plastic glasses available at the pool bar. If you bring your own tumbler, you can ask your staff to refill it with filtered drinking water. 
  • Udara is designed to activate your senses and encourage mindfulness through purposefully uneven and narrow pathways. Please practice mindful walking and stay attentive to your surroundings while navigating the terrain. 


ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

Please be aware that there may be Water Yoga classes or private Water Healing treatments scheduled during the day. During these times, the warm water pool will be closed. Thanks for your understanding.

Please note that our spa facilities are reserved exclusively for in-house wellness services, guest experiences and day pass bookings. The use of the spa premises for any commercial treatments or therapies conducted by external facilitators, practitioners, or third-party providers is strictly not permitted, unless explicitly approved by the Udara management.

SAUNA & STEAM ROOM USAGE

  • The Steam Room: Operates on a timer and is ready for use within a few minutes. Please ask our Front Desk staff to switch it on for you. 
  • The Infrared Sauna operates on a timer and the Front Desk staff will gladly switch it on for you. Please allow 10-15 minutes for it to reach full therapeutic power. For the best results, sit just a few centimeters from the panels with your back or sides facing them to allow the waves to penetrate deep into your tissues. The recommended time in the Infrared Sauna is 20-30 minutes. 
  • Finnish Sauna: We provide various aroma oil infusions. Please shake the bottle before pouring the water over the stones on top of the heater.  Heat rises, so sitting on higher benches will be warmer. Please stand up slowly to avoid dizziness when exiting.
  • Towel Etiquette: Always sit or lie on a towel inside the Finnish and Infrared Saunas to protect the wood from sweat. Towels are available at the front desk.


COLD PLUNGES & ICE BATH

  • Remember to take a shower before cooling off in the cold plunge pool (15-18 degrees) or ice bath (2-5 degrees). 
  • For an invigorating experience, ease yourself into the ice bath after a sauna session. Start with a short dip, gradually increasing your time up to 1-3 minutes, as you become accustomed to the cold. Focus on your slow and deep breathing with long exhalations, to manage the initial shock, and remember to listen to your body. This practice is excellent for stimulating circulation and boosting your immune system.
  • It is recommended to do 2-3 rounds in the Finnish Sauna of 8-15 minutes each session, or Infrared Sauna for 20-30 minutes followed by a dip in the cold pool or ice bath after each round. 
  • Take a rest in between and after the sauna rounds and drink lots of water.
  • Notes of Caution: Sauna and ice baths are not recommended for people who suffer from high blood pressure, circulatory disorders, diabetes, under influence of alcohol and for pregnant women. Please do not use the sauna if you feel unwell with a cold, fever or infection.
