About the Lead Teacher
Jens Zygar
Jens Zygar is a renowned musician who began his journey in the art of sound healing music in Hamburg, Germany, in 1984. He founded the first sound healing research center, KLANGHAUS, which focused on exploring gongs and their vibrational effects on the body, mind, and spirit. Jens’ encounter with Swiss physicist Hans Cousto, who calculated the frequencies of the planets, profoundly influenced his visionary work, making him an expert in the cosmic octave and the science of the order of frequencies in nature. Jens also initiated the planetary gongs with Paiste, which are now among the most popular gongs in the world, and he has created gong lines with other companies.
For 25 years, Jens toured worldwide with the Star Sounds Orchestra, showcasing cosmic ceremonial music performances at various festivals. He has worked with numerous centers globally as a trainer and teacher trainer for integral sound work in countries such as the USA, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Mexico, England, Sweden, Switzerland, and Italy.
Many students worldwide have been inspired by his distinctive style of integral sound music culture. His training programs comprise individually designed master classes aimed at holistic transformation, utilizing sound as the initiating medium for personal and collective growth.
In 2022, Jens became a co-producer of the award-winning gong film “We all just need to gong.” He also runs a YouTube channel featuring numerous instructional videos on how to play the gong and explore contemporary sound music, a new genre of today.

Secure your spot by paying a deposit of 250 US$ as soon as you sign up. All fees have to be paid three weeks before training starts. The deposit is fully refundable (minus the transaction fee) if canceled up to 45 days before the first day of the training. After that time the deposit can be transferred once to a future training or stay at Udara. In case of sickness before training starts or travel restrictions, a partial refund of training fees may be issued. In the event that Udara Bali is forced to cancel one of its training, the paid fees can either be transferred to a future training date or be refunded. The refund does not include any travel expenses of the participant.
Certificate :
After successfully completing the training, attending the scheduled classes and showing your skills in a final sound healing group demonstration, you will receive the certificate of completion in our graduation ceremony.
