At Udara Bali we have some of the most unique and beautiful Yoga Shalas in all of Asia. Yoga is about finding peace and a place inside yourself. And the physical place where we practice is immensely beneficial in supporting us in this process. We have 3 beautiful shalas, which each have their own unique features, design and energy. The names of our Yoga shalas honour important gods of Balinese Hinduism and pay tribute to the local culture of this island. For the various practices on our daily schedule, all of our Yoga shalas are equipped with high quality yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, belts and aerial silks.

Our largest Shala comfortably accommodates up to 75 yogis. With a beautiful view of the ocean, it’s challenging to keep one’s eyes closed during meditation!
In the Shiva Shala, we practice various forms of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, and Happy Healing Flow. Our teakwood floors are ideal for all sorts of movement practices. With the ocean breeze and the sound of crashing waves in the background, there are few places better to enhance your practice.
Shiva Shala

This is our Aerial studio, offering an incredible 360° view of the Indian Ocean, Bali’s volcanoes, and the rice fields. From here, you can see all the way to the southern tip of Bali and even watch planes land at Denpasar airport!
Baruna Shala
60 sqm
Our Vishnu Shala is located at the very top and is the most intimate, with room for up to 8 yogis. Here, we primarily conduct breathwork sessions and provide a relaxation area for our in-house guests. They can unwind during the day on comfortable mattresses and enjoy the stunning view of the ocean.
Visnu Shala

Our biggest Shala, can comfortably room up to 75 yogis. With a beautiful view of the ocean, it is hard to keep one’s eyes closed during meditation!
In the Shiva Shala we practice all kinds of yoga from Hatha and Vinyasa to Gentle Yoga or Happy Healing Flow. On Sundays we also have our ecstatic dance party here!
